Founder
My name is Dr Imran Haq, and I'm the Founder and CEO of Sonzaikan.
Having been to Med School at Oxford, and completing my training at Imperial College, London I spent the next 12 years on the NHS frontline as a surgeon, operating on facial cancers, traumas and fixing eyes.
I've seen the problems healthcare systems have to deal with face-to-face, and it's now our mission at Sonzaikan to try and fix them.

Rebecca Eaton is the Chief Technology Officer at Sonzaikan, where she brings extensive expertise as a cloud architect with over a decade of experience.
An alumna of Oxford University, she merges her academic background with practical insights to craft innovative solutions that enhance user experiences.
Under her guidance, the technical team at Sonzaikan is focused on delivering a reliable and secure app, empowering users to prioritise genuine connections.
Rebecca is passionate about utilising technology to foster real relationships and is dedicated to expanding the possibilities within the healthcare sector.

What do we need?
Frontend Developers
We require developers with proven expertise in frontend technologies, particularly React or Angular, to build a user-friendly interface for remote consultations. They should also be skilled in responsive design to accommodate various device sizes.
Backend Developers
The backend developer needs to have experience with Python or Node.js and be familiar with RESTful API development, as our platform will require secure, scalable, and efficient server-side functionality.
Healthcare Regulatory Compliance
Given our application's focus on health data, candidates must demonstrate experience in implementing robust security measures, including data encryption and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR.
Mobile Development
We're looking for mobile developers with a strong portfolio in both iOS and Android app development, preferably with experience in telehealth or similar applications that require real-time communication and data processing.
Hardware Integration Experience
It's essential that the developers have experience or the capability to integrate various hardware devices for vital statistics monitoring, involving IoT technologies and possibly Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity.
AI Integration
Experience with AI integration, particularly using platforms like ChatGPT for natural language processing to transcribe and summarise consultations, is highly desirable. The developers should be able to demonstrate previous projects or knowledge in this area.
Agile Environment
The developers should be comfortable working in an agile development environment, with regular sprints and deliverables, and be proficient in using project management and collaboration tools like Jira, GitHub, and Slack.
English Language Proficiency
Communication is key for our remote team, so we require developers with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear and effective collaboration.
